Nursing Practice and Research is a core journal of science and technology in China and a statistical source journal of scientific and technological papers sponsored by Hebei Provincial Department of Health and Hebei Provincial Children's Hospital. In October 2009, Nursing Practice and Research magazine formally established a review committee in combination with the development trend of the journal, and the review members are composed of experts and scholars with high prestige and high academic attestments in the province. The magazine strictly implements the "three reviews, three schools" publishing system, and at the end of each quarter, the review committee reviews the journals published in this quarter.
During this period, the review committee members reviewed each article with great enthusiasm, serious attitude, serious character and highly responsible, and put forward many valuable constructive comments and suggestions to the magazine, such as cover design, paper quality, printing quality, application of statistical methods, how to keep up with the clinical frontier, etc. Accordingly, the magazine has taken corresponding improvement measures, as follows.
1. The cover of the journal was redesigned, the paper was changed from the original 157g copper cover paper to the current 200g copper cover paper, and the text was changed from the original 80g double-tape paper to the current 60g light-coated paper, striving to achieve a dignified, concise and bright cover, the theme is prominent, and the whole magazine grade has been improved.
2. For the missing pages, damaged pages, missing pages, dirty and other phenomena that sometimes exist in the printing reflected by the review committee, the editorial department has communicated with the comrades responsible for printing in a timely manner, and through negotiation, the printing plant adjusted the workshop and personnel, and at the same time, strengthened the management of printing quality.
3. Dr. Wang Liqin from the Statistics Teaching and Research Department of Hebei Medical University was specially invited to train all editors on statistical knowledge, which benefited a lot. At the suggestion of Dr. Wang, the statistical system software package of "Chinese Medical Encyclopedia. Medical Statistics" was installed, which was crucial to the improvement of the internal quality of the journal.
4. Timely launch nursing special columns
The editorial department has set up special column reports on nursing in combination with the development trends of clinical nursing. For example, in 2010, the Ministry of Health issued the Work Standards for the implementation of Quality Nursing Services in Hospitals and required the comprehensive promotion of quality nursing services in 2011. Accordingly, the editorial department, combined with the opinions of the judges, issued a notice of "Quality nursing service topic" in the 9th issue of 2011, the rapid trial of the collected papers, priority publication, the selection of advanced and practical articles, which were quickly published in the 11th issue of the same year. It fully reflects the timeliness of the journal and provides reference experience for the clinical line. The editorial department will continue to work hard to keep up with the forefront of nursing, and please pay attention to the information release of my journal.
5. Strengthen the improvement of editorial literacy, establish a learning-oriented editorial department, strictly review all aspects of the process, and ensure the novelty and practicability of papers.
At present, "Nursing Practice and Research" has a good development trend, and its social influence is growing, which is manifested in the scope of contributions throughout the country, the average number of contributions is about 700 articles per month, the number of contributions from famous and famous universities has increased significantly, and the number of journal impact factors and fund articles has increased compared with the previous. In the future, all the staff of the editorial department will unite with the support and help of the reading judges and nursing colleagues from all walks of life, and make the magazine better and better with advanced vision, open mind, concepts of The Times and innovative ideas!
